Trint won when all the Mercs retired and Ascari went into the harbor! Gigi finished fifth. The Lancias hide the drivers more than the other cars that year, but it took Vanwall (blame it on Costin) to leave only the heads visible. What’s Frere driving–a 250F or Gordini?
