Some may find that scene odd, but growing up in rural Vermont and learning to drive in a Jeep CJ-5, I quickly learned that VW Beetles (and the difference in DNA between a Beetle and a 356 is ??) were just as good in the snow as I was. Weight over the driving wheels, minimal overall weight, and not enough power to really get one into trouble.
