Fantastic photos
After me! Marshall Lewis, chief of Kimberley’s scuderia, won the event in the car; then it was sent to Pebble Beach where Gentleman Jim flipped it–I took some photos of it there. Current owner Jon Shirley had the car restored to its pre-Kimberley configuration, with a fin on the rear deck for its number as in the European distance races. I was thrilled to be on the track alongside it at Coronado in 2004.
